Fear is not from God

Fear is not from God. Fear is the enemy himself–and “he” will do everything in his power to keep you from hearing God’s truth. Lies, self-doubt, bitterness, stubbornness, pride … all used as tools against you to block out God. When you lose your focus on God, you give the enemy a foothold into your life, and then it’s off to the races you go! (ugh~)

Everything you want is on the other side of fear/the enemy, but it’s fear that stops us in our tracks–paralyzes us from the inside out. We stop trusting. We stop believing in faith, hope, love, promise, truth, power. We stop believing in God and what He can do, and instead focus on what we can’t do…our failures.

Jesus clearly says in John 8:43-44, “You can’t understand what I’m saying, because you can’t even hear Me.” He goes on to say, “…the enemy has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him…he is a liar…” (Wow!) “Since I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe Me?”

My friend, God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline. (Ref 2 Tim 1:7) Yes, fear is a liar! Get up! Go boldly forward in the truth of God’s word! If God is for you, who can ever be against you? Your victory awaits!
