Palm Sunday…
What would you do if you knew you were about to face the biggest trial of your life? Knowing in just a matter of days, you’d be arrested, betrayed, beaten and then put to death on a cross –only to live and rise again.
I’m sure most of us would run, escape, flee. Doubt and lack of trust would be high on our list of struggles. We’d probably complain and question God (–maybe even be a little angry with the task ahead): “Why me? I don’t want to die for them! Pick someone else to do this, God.”
Isn’t this how we handle most our trials? Kicking and screaming all the way… Not too many of us would peacefully enter a place where we knew death was imminent.
As we reflect on this day, we know God has a perfect plan for each of us. And in His perfect plan is His perfect timing. Walk your journey in peace knowing He sent His Son for you. For your sins to be forgiven. For you to never have to face your trials alone. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. He is right by your side …because God loves you that much!
