Waiting … one of my biggest tests.
I’m not a good wait-er; especially when I’m stressed, tired, and don’t understand the ‘why God’ of my situation. Waiting on Him is pure torture at times. And the longer it takes, the more temper tantrums I have. Next comes doubt, resentment, and then my last foolish move…I jump ahead of God! All because “I” think I can do a better job than Him. What a mess… << = the enemy wins again >>
.
As I grow in my walk, I understand where God is refining, testing, and burning this lesson into my soul. And just because I can’t see behind the scenes, doesn’t mean God isn’t working. His timing is exact – never early, never late. And as He tests our waiting-faith, were forced to cling to Him —instead of the outcome of our situation. We learn peace with God as we accept and appreciate His perfect timing in every area of our life.
(Doesn’t mean I have to like it though ~)
