Beauty for ashes? Really God?
My life is nothing but ashes … there’s nothing pretty about it.
Sound familiar? My friend, God has this amazing way of taking the most hopeless pile of ash (me/you), and turning it into a beautiful new creation in Christ. Many times as I stood covered in ash, God saw something better–something more beautiful. What I saw as old dust, He saw as fresh soil…soil to cultivate exactly what He had created in me. My mess, my ugly life, was beautiful in His eyes.
God doesn’t see what’s on the outside, He sees what He created on the inside. When we’re finally stripped down in all our humility (nothing but ash), that’s when God transforms us into beauty — a child of the Most High God.
So dust off the ash, let God cleanse you and make you new. Trade your ashes for beauty as you wear your crown of glory today!

He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning.
