God, did you hear me?… Why are You so silent?… I’m crying out to You, yet I hear nothing?…
(In my opinion) Silence is one of the worst “tests” of my faith that God could ever do. As I sit, pray, wait, pray, and still hear nothing, panic starts to take over and off I go in a wild frenzy on my own… complete utter madness
But today’s post is here to share a different perspective: Silence can also be a sign of God’s trust. Yes…trust.
Has God trusted you with His silence? God’s silence can actually be His answer. His silence is a sign that He is bringing you into an even more wonderful understanding of Himself. If God has given you a silence, then praise Him—He is bringing you into His purpose (trusting Him more). The blessing that comes with God’s silence, is when you become perfectly confident; where you can honestly say, “I know that God has heard me.” His silence is the very proof that He has. ~ Oswald Chambers in My Utmost For His Highest (paraphrased)
‘I KNOW that God has heard me.’ Wow ~ what peace those few words can bring to a frenzied soul… Can you get to the place of trusting His silence today?… Where you have complete, unconditional, confident trust in Him.
Thank you God for allowing me to trust You more
