My chains… These heavy chains that kept me in bondage for far too long. Why, oh why, do I choose to carry them so? For once saved, I’ve been set free; yet I’m the one who still bears the burden on my back.
My friend, you don’t have to carry these heavy chains. Lay them down where Jesus set you free! At the foot of the cross is where they belong! Fear, anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, pain, addiction, control, stubbornness, pride… What’s your chain that’s holding you back from complete VICTORY in Christ? What keeps you held prisoner, shackled in your own misery of mental torment?
There is POWER in the Name of Jesus! He’s your chain-breaker, your pain-taker, your way-maker, your prison-shaking SAVIOR! He’s come to set you FREE! He can break those chains …but you’re the one who has to leave them there. Let them go. Release your grip! Set yourself free from what holds you within your own prison walls. As a saved Believer, you are to walk away from what no longer serves you. Leave it all behind. For by His stripes you’ve been set free!
Now give ALL PRAISE, GLORY and HONOR to Him who still sits on the throne ~AMEN and AMEN!
