I can honestly say I wouldn’t have chosen my struggles in life. With each storm that hit, God certainly got my attention!
When faced with trials, it’s so easy to turn your back on God instead of rejoicing in your struggle; but had I not accepted the challenge, I would have missed the strength, faith and trust that I gained by going through it. What I thought I would never get through, God got me through. What started out as fear, turned into incredible strength to face each storm that came …and that, my friend, is worth rejoicing!
My storms steadied me. What was meant to shake me to the core in the beginning, only made me stand more firm on my rock in the end. With each storm that hit, I learned God could handle my circumstances better than I could ever imagine! I learned His Grace would always protect me, and the storms would never destroy me. But most of all, I learned Hope.
Hope in a God who loves me enough to test my character as He transforms me into the image of His Son. Each storm I faced only brought more love, compassion and understanding for those who face struggles of their own. I can rejoice in Hope…Hope in sharing the Glory of God to all who will listen! It is this confident Hope I share with you today! God is always working everything together for your good and for that you can Rejoice too!
