Only God knows the real you…
The hurt you. The scared you. The angry you. The sad you. He knows all the ugly parts you keep hidden from everyone else. With God, you don’t have to pretend. You don’t have to hide. You don’t have to fear. He just wants you to be you.
How comforting to know that all you have to be is ‘just you’ when you enter His presence. No fake smiles. No acting like everything is great, when it’s not. He knows it all and He loves you just the way you are.
Rest in His love and comfort tonight. Give it all to Him. Every care, concern, worry, fear. Just lay it all down at the foot of the cross where it belongs. God knows the real you, and He knows He didn’t create you to carry the burdens of this life. He sent His son to do that for you why?…because He loves the ‘real’ you that much.
