We’ve all stood there…looking at our Red Sea…that moment when you feel there’s no way out, no way back, no way through–trapped, discouraged, defeated. Where you can only ‘hope’ God heard your prayers as you question every decision you’ve made up to this point.
In Exodus 14:13 Moses stood all right… Yep, He stood firm in his faith!—unafraid, no fear. In v14 he even says, “The Lord himself will fight for you! Just stay calm …be still…remain silent.”
Sometimes being silent and trusting God is a matter of just putting one foot in front of the other as walls of water are on both sides. Remember, you’re not alone. God himself is fighting for you! He even says (in v15), “What’s your problem, pick up your staff and get moving!”
That’s right…God’s charging in ahead of you! Don’t just stand there trembling in fear. Faith without works is dead! Grab that staff and declare, “My God is able and He can do ALL things!” Watch how He rescues you time and time again. He will never leave you, nor forsake you no matter how scared, or how many mistakes you make. He loves you that much!
Doubt doesn’t part waters, my friend… Get up! Believe! It’s time to get moving!
