When we demand answers from God, our disobedience, stubbornness and spiritual immaturity are revealed. If you truly trusted God, you wouldn’t need answers. ( <–Hello!)
It takes an enormous amount of self-discipline to stay on the path when you don’t know the ‘why’. But understand this: once you begin to obey, God will begin to bless your steps.
It takes faithful action and unwavering trust ( =discipline on our part) to go the distance. These acts of discipline become the light on our path. Watch how God blesses each step with each act of obedience you do. Are you willing to be willing to stay the course–to finish the journey God has prepared for you?
Trust God unconditionally. Maybe this journey is more about you getting a hold of God –as you grow closer to Him– than it is about the answer to your why. Maybe an answer was never needed to begin with…
Don’t let your own disobedience hold you back. Trust the journey God has for you, and thank Him as He shows you ways to trust Him more.
